has been appointed as a technical advisor for Sri Lanka’s forthcoming tour
of England.Foster will work with the team up until the end of the three-match Test
series, working specifically with the pace bowlers, but also providing
technical assistance and support to head coach Dav Whatmore.Foster, a bio-mechanical expert based at the University of Western
Australia, has had a long working relationship with the Sri Lanka having
helped to establish a successful fast bowling academy three years ago and
acted as fast bowling advisor since.Sri Lanka will travel to England with their strongest back-up team in their
touring history, a team that includes: head coach Whatmore, technical
advisor Foster, leading international physio Alex Kontouri, manager Chandra
Shaffter and a full-time video analyst.
